KU Nondiscrimination Policy

As a premier learning and research institution, the University of Kansas must continuously address issues of diversity and multiculturalism. Every member of the University community is expected to engage in action that leads toward the development of a more democratic and inclusive community.

KU Discrimination Complaint Resolution Process

The University of Kansas prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, veteran status, age, sexual orientation, marital status and parental status. Any person claiming to be aggrieved by a prohibited discriminatory practice may contact the Department of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity, which maintains formal policies for hearing and resolving disputes.
